I have just finished my M.A in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and thoroughly enjoyed it. I consider myself an illustrator and I work for a company called 'Creative Minds' who take art and craft sessions to older adults and adults with learning disabilities. The following entries are my drawings and musings. All images are copyright of Kerina Strevens. Please contact me on my website kerinastrevens.co.uk.

Mulling Over Wine
This is my drawing of Heathcliff in despair. It's been a difficult week and I am now sitting with a glass of mulled wine as I write this. It's near enough to Christmas now to be able to do that. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. The Christmas music is on in the shops already and we're not even out of November. Do they want us to get so sick of it by Christmas that we never want to hear another Christmas tune? I think no one should be able to do anything Christmassy until December 1st. Then it can all go mad. Working in retail really takes the joy out of Christmas for you. I end up feeling a bit like Heathcliff in my drawing. My sister should be home on Monday, so I'm looking forward to seeing her.
