I have just finished my M.A in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and thoroughly enjoyed it. I consider myself an illustrator and I work for a company called 'Creative Minds' who take art and craft sessions to older adults and adults with learning disabilities. The following entries are my drawings and musings. All images are copyright of Kerina Strevens. Please contact me on my website kerinastrevens.co.uk.

Bee Still
I've been doing a little bit of experimenting, this effect was achieved with tissue paper. I'm still playing around with it. It's quite a nice effect, makes me think of tree bark. I've been fairly busy this week and it now gets busier until we reach Easter, then hopefully things calm down again. I have a company meeting next week end so that will be a bit of a jaunt. I have blood tests on Monday to see if I have an underactive thyroid, something that seems to run in the women in our family. Last time the tests came back negative, so we'll see. The weather seems to be improving. The blossom is out and the flowers are beginning to bloom. Whether it will stay this way is anyones guess. I'm hoping so!
