I have just finished my M.A in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and thoroughly enjoyed it. I consider myself an illustrator and I work for a company called 'Creative Minds' who take art and craft sessions to older adults and adults with learning disabilities. The following entries are my drawings and musings. All images are copyright of Kerina Strevens. Please contact me on my website kerinastrevens.co.uk.

Tree Mural
Last week, I spent my evenings painting a tree mural in Thornbank Residential Home in Ipswich. It's not quite finished yet but it's coming along nicely and the residents are requesting animals and birds that they'd like added. The tree runs from one side of the room to the other and, on the suggestion of a resident, we are painting it from spring to autumn across the room. So far, so good. I've had a good week with my sessions, lots of positive feedback and a couple of people joining in who haven't had the confidence previously. I have a lot of organising to do this week. It's another busy one.
