I have just finished my M.A in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and thoroughly enjoyed it. I consider myself an illustrator and I work for a company called 'Creative Minds' who take art and craft sessions to older adults and adults with learning disabilities. The following entries are my drawings and musings. All images are copyright of Kerina Strevens. Please contact me on my website kerinastrevens.co.uk.

The Daily Grind
It's been a really good week. I had Thursday afternoon off so that I could go drawing in Christchurch Park with my artist friend, Emma Graham. After a little drawing session we wandered down into Ipswich as author and illustrator David McKee was signing books in the town hall. I got my book signed, of course. Also mentioned how much my brother and I used to love 'Mr Benn' (one of his earlier creations). It had to be done. It was a good day. This weekend, my brother and his family and my sister and her wife, all took my Mum on a river cruise for her birthday. I managed to keep it secret by being really vague. I'm good at vague. There were four other people and we all got along wonderfully and had a good time. We had our dinner while we were out there too. The weather was dreadful, of course. It rained and was very wet but because the boat was covered, we didn't notice an awful lot and the scenery was lovely anyway. So it's been one of those rare good weeks that you quite enjoy. A good time was had by all. Back to the grind this week.
